⚖️ RBI Mandated 30-Day Resolution

Nearly 1 in 5 Indian borrowers discovers an erroneous entry or clerical mistake on their credit report at some point. Because Indian credit bureaus rely on automated bulk monthly uploads from hundreds of financial institutions, human data-entry errors or system sync delays can penalize your score by 30 to 80+ points.

Under the Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005 (CICRA), you have the legal right to challenge and rectify any inaccurate information within a mandatory 30-day turnaround window.

Duplicate Account Resolution Plan

A single loan or credit card is listed twice by your lending bank under different account serial numbers, artificially doubling your reported debt burden.

Action Required: Submit your bank loan account statement showing only a single sanction ID. Expected resolution time: 1520 Days.

The 4-Step CRIF Dispute Resolution Process

Step 1: Obtain Your Unique CIR Report Number

Before filing any dispute with CRIF High Mark, you must have your latest credit report containing your Report ID / CIR Control Number. You can instantly download your official CRIF report for free inside the ScoreCare Mobile App.

Step 2: Collect Your Bank Evidence Documents

Credit bureaus cannot modify data on their own without lender verification. Having the right proof drastically cuts down resolution time:
